As an adult sometimes we feel so rushed with things we forget to take care of ourselves. So today, remember that your body is a temple. Our body holds together our mind and spirit. Stay present as we grow! It is important to take the time to do the little things our body needs to feel complete.
Maybe you’ve been so busy you haven’t had time to take to yourself, take a break. Don’t try to pack everything into the same second. Your mind needs free time too. Allow yourself to understand that taking a little time to yourself is necessary! Whether it’s a few minutes to the whole day, your brain and body will thank you later.
What do you like to do that makes you feel admissible? Or maybe not so much like to do but you don’t make time for it.. Take a few seconds to stretch, add some oils to your hair, cleanse your face, brush your teeth. Find those earrings you were saving for a special day & wear them because today is special!
Self care can be very different than you think.. there could be something weighing you down that you need closure or just an answer from.. do it today. It might feel like you’re stuck being the same person you’ve always been & maybe were taught not to communicate, so now it’s hard to tell someone what bothers you & it bothers you day by day. Free yourself from the thought of not being able to speak your mind! You are your only you! Don’t wish you said something, set boundaries & allow yourself to say no!
Be the person you want to see your most admirable person being. Strong, confident, loving, forgiving, brave & healthy. Cherish this time in your life & treat every day special. Appreciate yourself, everything you’ve gone thru & you made it, better, happier, wiser & healthier than ever. There’s a promising future for all of us, but we have to better ourselves to better the next person.
